With the standard disclaimer of someone whos has never used octave
under windows...
No, any viewer would probably do fine, but you might have to convert
the format.
Take a look at how its done for Mac OS X, where the image is converted
to a format supported by the
default image viewer and then displayed. You could probably do
something along those lines.
