Multi-Plotting at a Single Coordinate system

Good Day!

Can anyone there teach me how to overlap different plots at a single coordinate system? Like in Matlab, typing 'hold' would work things out.

And is it possible to input functions in its actual form? For example:

g1=(s+1)/(s+3)/(s+5)^2 (This can be input in Matlab exactly the way it is)

But in Octave:

g1 = zp2sys([-1], [-3 -5 -5], 1)

I am looking forward to any help anyone can offer. Thank you very much.

Respectfully yours,

Dale A. Fuertes
