I made my own version of Octave 2.1.36 for Windows using the other versions
available as a guide. I used gnuplot for win32 and a modified version of pipe-
gnuplot.c (instead of pgnuplot.exe which is included with the gnuplot binary
distribution) so it behaves just like it does on Linux. I also did some
modifications on the start-up script so it loads a little faster.
This "home made" version (and a couple of older versions) is used in the
School of Engineering of the National University of Cordoba (Argentina) in an
introductory course on programming.
What I need is someone who can spare a couple of minutes (or more) to test
the package. You can get it from:
http://www.efn.uncor.edu/departamentos/computacion/materias/software/octa
ve_install.exe
Thanks in advance.
