latest Cygwin 'make' fails

I have a clean installation of the latest cygwin.

I have tried to build octave-2.0.16 by first running configure and then make.

Configure completed successfully, but make failed after a long period of compilation.
The last few lines of output were:

Can anyone help me correct for this problem?
