Requests for a search facility seem to be a recurring theme. Perhaps it
would be worth adding a Google search bar to the octave.org web page,
either a simple search bar with site:octave.org pre-entered, or one of the
more sophisticated free SiteSearch options offered by google
at http://www.google.com/services/index.html. Alternatively, does
anybody know if it would be possible to add the mailing list archives to
the usenet archives at groups.google.com (formerly deja.com)? This would
have the great advantage of allowing threads to be followed.
