SUN solaris 2.7, no admin, compiling error

Hi John, co-listers...!

The subject says all. The 32 release crashses compiling de
doc/interpreter.
My problem is what the sys-admind that knows the compiling tricks for
octave has had a new kid and she will not return in three months.
Please, someome that use SUN-solaris can tell me what I must do to
resolve this:

sibaris1 is a symbolic link to /net/sibaris/scratch1/rob/

I would like to have this running before Christmas hollydays. Some help?
