So far there's only http://matlinks.net/matcompat/matcompat.html, which is both 
far from ideal or complete; but a start nonetheless (it's based on Paul 
Kienzle's more frequently-updated tarball with basically the same links).

A real repository I agree is a better notion.  The above site will soon be 
split into subsections and brushed up to actually host the code itself.  
However, it's really what ought to be hosted at either octave.org or perhaps 
better (since it's usually provisional code still pending/under review), 
octave.sourceforge.net (said at the risk of opening that big vacuous debate 
again..).

Your assistance would be most welcome in any of several areas...
