Nano's Info manual makes use of UTF-8; having to make do with only
ASCII would be too limiting. But the above display issue is caused
by TinyCore building nano in a UTF-8 environment, but you are running
info in a non-UTF-8 locale. If you set your system and your terminal
to a UTF-8 locale, things should display fine. If you don't want any
UTF-8, then you should build nano from source and use --disable-utf8
with ./configure, and then remove the following line:
@documentencoding UTF-8
from doc/nano.texi before running make.
