[Help-nano] Regular expressions

From: Warren, Jeffrey S

I can't get nano to make word-boundary matches in its regexp searches. None
of \< \> \b and \B are recognized. I can use all of them with grep.

I am running nano Version 1.2.2 under Cygwin 1.5.10 under Win XP.

Geremy F. mentioned in January 2004 that he couldn't get these color options
to work in his nanorc:
color red "\<[A-Z_]{2,}\>"
color green "\<(float|char|int|void|static|const|struct)\>"
color brightyellow "\<(if|while|do|else|case|switch)\>"

That thread appears to have died.

Thanks
J Warren
