Clarification: Why name call function as call. It should have been instance/instantiate. Isn't it? |

Hey All,
After having read the Make documentation it seems that the call
function is used to invoke macro/variable instances rather than functions.
I initially got confused because I assumed that call is for function
invocation as is generally the case in assembly language.
