No problem.

Yes, libreadline4 is outdated I think. You can just remove it from
/etc/crosshurd/packages/common for the time being, a new crosshurd
package should get uploaded to fix this.

Indeed, this was due to a buggy system where I build emacs21, so those
libraries were not considered. I will try to rebuild emacs21 during the
next days. In the meantime, you can install them manually, or just use
emacs21-nox.

Not sure what you mean here. The standard way is to apt-get install
x-window-system-core. However, right now, you need the latest gnumach
and hurd packages. And when you are done installing you need to
manually install the xserver-xorg package from
http://dept-info.labri.fr/~thibault/debian-hurd/ to make things work.
This will hopefully get easier soon.

Both. I was tracking them this time, but it could have easily been some
issue with slipped under the radar. For things which do not directly
touch the gnumach or hurd packages, but which are Hurd-specific, I
suggest to file a bug at the alioth bug tracker at
http://alioth.debian.org/projects/debian-hurd
