Problem building hdf5-parallel-openmpi@1.10.7

Hi,

I am trying to build hdf5-parallel-openmpi@1.10.7 (in order to
build dealii), but it fails with some errors that I know not
how to deal with.
They look like the following:

    [1621604416.381990] [localhost:25713:0]      tcp_iface.c:602  UCX  ERROR 
opendir(/sys/class/net) failed: No such file or directory

I've attached the full build log.
I'm building with:

    guix build hdf5-parallel-openmpi@1.10.7 -K

Does anyone have any pointers?
(I seem to recall having successfully installed dealii back in
September or something.)
