Thank you Simon and Phil for your help. I've just added support for
gsasl in the git master branch, and it should be available in the next
major release (2.2.0) some time early next year.
I don't have much experience with (or understanding of) the Cyrus
library, but I found working with GNU SASL very pleasant and easy to
understand. So my thanks to everyone here.
I have a question about one of the api function implementations, but
will put that in a new thread shortly.
