Airplane key don't work after a grup-update

Hello the list,
 I'm trying to make a build for the computers we are branding. We are
installing Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS on our N240BU computers. When I finished the
installation : the key combination [Fn]+[F11] work fine( it's the airplane
hotkey: should cut all the radio devices like bluetooth, wifi, IR,...). But
when I do a "sudo grub-update", then the combination only cut the
bleutooth. I dont' understand what grub-udate is doing. How can I fix this
problem?
