[1.99] Using grub-install on UEFI system

Dear all,

I've been told that 'grub-install' alone is not the correct way for using grub-install 1.99 on UEFI, so:
what is the "normal" way of using grub-install 1.99 for UEFI please?  (which parameters must be used?)
