But gcc is certainly present:

Anybody have any idea how I can build gcc 4 under Vista?  Alternatively,
if somebody has a pre-build gcc 4 for Vista they'd be willing to share,
that'd be fine, too.



What is in your configure.log?
Can you compile and run a simple "Hello, world!\n" program?
