I have installed Oracle applications before in the past and have had hardly any trouble with your software. However I have now encountered a problem and need your help for I can not find the answers anywhere. I am using gunzip and make version 3.79.1 and are running the command from the dos prompt below
E:\utils\gnu>gunzip make-3.79.1.tar.gz
and I am receiving the message:
GUNZIP: make-3.79.1.tar.gz already has a .gz suffix -- unchanged
I have tried this command on a NT server 4.0 operating system, 98se and 95.
Please help
