I installed gcc 3.0 but soon found it would not build everthing I needed (kde
arts). So I went back to 2.95.3 by reinstalling that. Now I have problems
w/ ld. My guess it is trying to use some of the gcc 3.0 libs. This is the
error I get during a build.
/usr/bin/ld: .libs/libkhtml.so.3.0.0: undefined versioned symbol name
__register_frame_info@@GLIBC_2.0
/usr/bin/ld: failed to set dynamic section sizes: Bad value
I know its gcc/ld/libs and not the source becuase I tested rebuilding things
that worked before the install of gcc 3.0.
What should I do or where should I go to get help?
