Dear all,

I have now got pretty well attuned to configuring emacs.

Please look at the following snip it and clear my possible confusion.

(add-hook 'python-mode-hook 'electric-pair-mode)
(add-hook 'python-mode-hook 'linum-mode)
(add-hook 'python-mode-hook 'delete-selection-mode)
(add-hook 'python-mode-hook
  (lambda ()
    (setq indent-tabs-mode t)
    (setq python-indent 4)
    (setq tab-width 4)))

(add-hook 'web-mode-hook 'delete-selection-mode)
(add-hook 'web-mode-hook 'company-mode)
(add-hook 'web-mode-hook 'linum-mode)
(setq tags-table-list '("~/workspace/git/TAGS"))

Needless to say I gave both relevant snippets for Python and web-mode
for reference.

The issue is that while all is well with Python-mode, the same is not
working for web-mode in my case.

Can any one help point me out if any problem could be seen?

I know that web-mode enables company by default yet I have taken no chances.

I did add the call to add it for the web-mode hook.

Happy hacking.

Krishnakant.
