You can replace ‘(insert (concat STRING1 ... STRINGN))’ with
‘(insert STRING1 ... STRINGN)’. This you can discover for
yourself by typing ‘C-h f insert RET’ and noting "&rest ARGS" in
the resulting *Help* buffer.
