(kill-emacs 0) exiting with 1

Hi all,

This may be related to this recent bugfix

I'm using emacs 24.4 built manually on an Ubuntu Precise machine (to match
Travis CI).

When running this code

which is being called as (kill-emacs 0), we are getting an exit code of 1, e.g.
in this build

(go to the bottom of the console output)

Is this a regression introduced with the bugfix?

Given that the shell script is `exec`-ing into emacs, which then ends with
`(kill-emacs 0)`, I am confused how anything else could interfere with the exit
status of the build script that we're running.

Best regards,
