Hi Emacs folks,
I've dug around but can't find help on this. I have a long personal word list for ispell named ".ispell_american" that I've built up over the years with uncommon words I commonly use. I sync this personal dictionary across a few computers.
But lately my emacs at work (GNU Emacs 23.2.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.24.4) of 2011-04-04 on rothera, modified by Debian) won't recognize common words of mine.
I traced this to its using aspell instead of ispell when I invoke "ispell-buffer", and referring to ".aspell.en.pws" instead of my ispell personal dictionary. Is there a good way to tell it to use my ispell list instead? (I tried a symbolic link but it's not in the right format to make aspell happy.) Or is there a good way to convert all my emacsen to aspell and convert the personal dictionary?
Thanks,
spetey
