Dear Group

Some of my IMAP folders produce "ghost-headers" of expired mails in the
summary-buffer. They contain the "O"-flag which changes to the "G"-flag
when selected. The message itself is long expired and gone from the
server. Manually expiring them shows no effect, the headers appear again
when I re-enter the group.

I don't know exactly why this happens. All my groups are in the
auto-expiry list, and most emails expire as expected. But some leave
this ghost-header for any reason. It also seems to happen sometimes when
I move a message to another group.

Thanks for help

Sven

P.S. A fresh gnus installation on a new system doesn't show those
headers. However, deleting newsrc(.eld) on a old system doesn't work.
