It seems like it might be a nice feature to optionally allow
the minibuffer to vanish, freeing up another line for
editing (or reading), but have it raise automatically when
displaying information or being used
interactively--something similar to the way some window
managers auto-hide the desktop menu/icon bar (whatever it's
called).
Is there already such a feature in Emacs or in a third-party
library?
