Damn! Deactivating standard-display-european fixes the display of files with a correctly recognized encoding. /But/ what is broken now is the display of Gnus imap folders with umlauts in their names. (I suppose this was the reason for activating this in my .emacs) Any ideas? Is this a Gnus issue? -- Martin
