Is there any way of saving a session when using w3m as a web browser? - i.e. so

passed to emacs? Also, how does one access the options for w3m from inside
emacs, that are accessed by o in the shell?

Why not use desktop.el?

(setq desktop-buffer-modes-to-save
      (cons 'w3m-mode desktop-buffer-modes-to-save))
