CVS Emacs vs. Mac OS X

I had trouble makeing the CVS version of Emacs on under Mac OS X
10.3.2 running Apple's X11 client.

Perhaps Emacs can't find some needed fink-installed files? That is
the usual problem.

Help/advice is appreciated.
