How do I increase font size in 21.3?

Ok - I solved my other posted problems (see below).

For 21.3, could someone tell me how to increase the font size?  this
new version doesn't access my .Xdefaults and I can't find any docs on
the

emacs --font 

qualifier.

solution to other problems:  use edt-bind-gold-key-default - this fn
works where edt-bind-gold-key doesn't anymore (in 21.3). This doesn't
work in older versions so if you're moving between versions you need
two .emacs files).
