Oh, I see.  Well, I have key bindings for the commands where I miss
it most (though I forget which ones they are).  But make-directory
was the first example that popped in my head.

Oops.  Well, ido affects completion, and it also affects interaction
with the history...  Sorry about mixing up different things.
