avoiding multiple emacs sessions

Hi,
I am using emacs 21.1 on windows 2000 professional. I
had associated my java files with emacs. But when i
double click on any java file in explorer, every time
it opens new emacs. Is there any way to avoid new
instance every time and the new file will open in
already opened emacs.
