Re: Renameing many filenames

Thanks for your hint. 

I'd like just to edit the filename instead of writing
it as a whole.

For example, if a file is named:
long_filename_as_eyample and I want to replace y and x,
I only want to go to the filename in the buffer und
type x making long_filename_as_example.

Of course I can copy and yank, using mouse for example,
but this means work, especially if you have 100 or more
files to rename.

How can this be realized?
