Thanks.  I recommended the batch file wrapper only because I wasn't sure
whether the -q -F parameters could be included using "Open With".
Indeed, the link I have to GnuClient in my SendTo folder points directly
to it, rather than a batch file.

Also, I apologize for not setting the subject properly in my previous
email.

Your proposal to create a .bat file for the gnuclientw association
works,
but is much more complex than is needed.  I just tell the
Explorer/Folder Options/File Types/ to use gnuclientw itself.

The distinction between gnuclient and gnuclientw is worth noting here.
gnuclient freezes the program that calls it until the gnuclient session
.is complete.  gnuclientw is an independent process that works in
parallel
with the program that calls it.
