Hi there,
Did somebody here used, or tried "cfengine competitors" like Sun N1 [1] or
Veritas OpForce [2] ?
What is the best way to make my boss decide to use cfengine instead of these
softwares (except that
cfengine is a free software) ?
In addition to the great points others have made, I'd come at it
from the point of view it's open source, so if you really need some
feature, you can make it yourself (or pay someone to do that). If it's
proprietary, the vendor can tell you "No-one (except you) needs that; go
jump".
