I'm running solaris 9 on a sparc processor, and I've got a single config
that's set up to just connect and get the latest update.conf after a
jumpstart.
We've compiled 2.1.14 into a package against db 4.2.37 using gcc 3.4.3,
and the software is, in fact, connecting correctly to get the key -
however, right after it copies the key down, cfagent dumps core. The
file does not transfer.
Once the key has successfully been copied, a re-run of the config works
just fine.
I can send the core file to anyone who knows better than I how to make
use of it - debugging core files is not an area of expertise that I
claim.
Here's the relevant chunks of config:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
control:
CFMaster = ( cfd.usg.tufts.edu )
myconfigdir = ( /var/cfengine/inputs/ )
mysourcedir = ( /local/cfengine/cf2/ )
actionsequence = ( copy )
##########################################################################
copy:
$(mysourcedir)update.conf
dest=$(myconfigdir)update.conf server=$(CFMaster) trustkey=true
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? And can anyone offer a
suggestion on what to do about it? Given that cfengine is pretty
central to our infrastructure, we'd really rather it not be dumping core
all over the place.
