I have a number of hosts running Cfengine now, most with 2.0.3,
some with 2.0.0. The problem I'm having occurs when running
cfrun 2.0.3 and trying to talk to cfservd 2.0.0.
I run the command:
# cfrun some_host
And at "some_host":
# cfservd -d -v -F
On a Red Hat Linux 7.2 host running cfengine 2.0.3, I see this
upon connection:
Received: [EXEC -v ] on socket 5
User root granted connection privileges
AccessControl(/var/cfengine/bin/cfagent)
AccessControl(/var/cfengine/bin/cfagent,some_server.cuna.coop) encrypt
requested=0
On a HP-UX 11.0 host running cfengine 2.0.0, I see this:
Received: [EXEC -v ] on socket 5
User root granted connection privileges
AccessControl()
some_host2: Couldn't stat filename from host some_server.cuna.coop
some_host2: lstatsome_host2: Host authorization/authentication failed or access
denied
What's going on? The configuration (/var/cfengine/inputs) is the same
(synchronized with
rsync) on all three hosts.
