I can't unpack the attachment on this (Windows) machine. I'll check it as
soon as I can; tomorrow, if possible.
I realized that what I told you is wrong. These functions are called.
Pointers to them are passed to the Standard Template Library `sort'
functions. However, they are only used in one or two places.
If you can install GCC 3.3.3, or if the `-compatability_version' option
works, these would be better alternatives.
