Khurram!
I am just wondering if you have install a separate PACS server at all in your Hospital? We are planning in 2 weeks to implement automated Radiology(CT scan,Mammography, Ultrasound , Xray). Then to access to dicom image we will install the dicom viewer at Doctors who do the evaluation.Iust want to share if anybody has already did this.I really appreciate your feedback.

As for LIMS, for the time being I am confident that GNU Health has developed the LIMS, adding that Luis has successfully written the Interface to a specific Lab Equipment , so from there we can add the interface for another machine. This will avoid Human Intervention for entering Analytes Results to Lab Types.
Yes, we still the community to contribute to make GNU Health LIMS more complete. But for now we are happy with what GNU Health LIMS offered.

Best Regards;

Dear All,
Greetings from the African Society of Laboratory Medicine conference in Cape Town!
Do we have any updates on Occhiolino? Given the increasing focus on antimicrobial resistance, there is an ever increasing need for a recent FLOSS LIMS.
BLIS has come along in leaps and bounds, but a LIMS that sports an ERP as an integral part if its functionality won't hurt.
I have written to the Occhiolino list, but not received any response.
It would be great to hear, where things stand at present.
Warm regards from South Africa,
Chris

Dear All,

I am able to input and save rich text using the 'richtext' widget. But, when I showed this field in the radiology report (.ODT), it displays the raw text:

<div align="left"><font face="normal">This is the sample report</font></div><div align="left"><br></div><div

Can anybody help me how can I render this HTML block in .ODT file?

Thanking in anticipation.

Regards,
Khurram.

Dear Axel,

Thank you so much for your kind words.

I agree to your remark in principle.

I believe that this requirement is genuine specially after spending one whole day with the Radiologists and observing them opening 'Normal Results' report template for every imaging test and then modifying it slightly according to imaging results.

By the way, it felt a slight pain in my heart by just imagining that I have to harmonise documents (which I really to do ).

Regards,
Khurram.

Just as a remark:
When introducing a new solution it is usually a good approach to take a step
back, look at the requirements and challenge them. Is it a requirement, or is
it just because 'we always did it that way'?
Use the opportunity to harmonize documents - remember you have to maintain all
of them afterwards!

Cheers
Axel
