Looks like we can remove it.
I think it became almost useless with commit
cc0e575a94a4e22a0bf2bf1b0c7b0514f1c1fbb5 in (2015), and unused since
commit 8423c2d3097da2d9d25b6f56c1971ac7147d3ad9 (2020).
Mathieu, no objections? Or can it theoretically be used with
‘initialize-root-partition’?
