The latest release is 2.16.1 and compiling it with modern gtk gets type
mismatch errors. The details are in NetBSD PR pkg/42508 (I get the
same results on NetBSD 5.0 i36):

I suspect what's going on is that gtk has changed and the bzr-now-git
version has been updated, but for some reason there has been no release.
