The widgets look nice, but you are being kind if you say that
guile-gnome is well documented ;)

Odd, this works for me. You refer to the one in the guile-gtk-demo?

Guile-gnome started with a very good wrapper for GObject and moved to
wrap the rest of the Gnome stack. Guile-gtk started with a very good
wrapper for Gtk 1.2 and has recently been ported to Gtk 2.x.
Objectively it is a bit silly that there be two projects in the same
space, but that's how it is right now. It would be easier if one were
better in all circumstances ;)
