According to my old email, I don't think there was any followup to this,
so I just checked if it's fixed by now:

scheme@(guile-user)> (use-modules (oop goops))
scheme@(guile-user)> (class-of #u32(1 2 3 4))
$1 = #<<class> <uvec> 9cd8870>
