[Groff] newbie help

Hi,

I am new to troff and I want some help

I wanted to use troff (groff, actually) to write a paper & the 'mom'
macros had some problem (i posted that a while ago)

So, now, there are many macro-packages me, ms, mm, man that I glanced at
So, which macro-package do you suggest me to use? what are the uses of
each package?

Also, I wanted to install my own font and followed the instructions given in

but, no luck :(
