Define .hy to do nothing, `..' marks the end of the definition.  Turn
off hyphenation.

    .de hy
    ..
    .nh

_A TROFF Tutorial_ and CSTR #54 at http://troff.org/papers.html are the
standard documents.

Hmm. I guess .ll (line length) and .tl (title length) might work.
