[Groff] fontselection

Hello all,

this is only a question whether I've understood or not.  Using the -ms
package, I'm selecting fonts with the .ft- request, e.g.

~~
some text
.ft CR
more text
.ft R
original font.
~~

The font names I took from /usr/share/groff/fonts/devDEVICE.

But then I have to decide what output I want, because -tdvi uses other
fonts that -tps.  Is this true or are there other font selection ways
which skip this difference between the devices?
