Sounds nice... Let's see :

groff -U -ms -mspdfref -t -p file > file.ps
      ^^ 
   -U seems to be necessary (???)

Here are the two warning messages (the second time I compile the file)

./tmac.pdfref:71: warning: number register `oo' not defined
file:40: macro error: RP is not allowed after the first page has started

The first line appears each time I use -mspdfref (even with very simple files).
The second line appears though there is nothing before .RP (except .de, .nr)
If I compile my file without -mspdfref, everything works (no warning message).
If I compile my file with -mspdfref, I have this message, and my document is
changed (no cover sheet).
