I'm using Mandrake 7.2 with russian KOI8-R locale set. Somewhat unexpectedly I
discovered, that even in english manual pages there are sometimes characters
from the upper half - obviously, of ISO-8859-1. Example is hyphenation
character at the end of line - that is, sigh, shown as some pseudo-grafik
symbol in my case.
Is there any way to configure groff to _not_ assume that ISO-8859-1 is in use?
Preferably with some parameters - I do not want to recompile it.

Have a nice DOS!
