ok, thanks for help the problem is now clear. You are using an older
unpatched version of rdesktop, which doesn't support '-w' command line
switch. Please update to the latest cvs version of rdesktop, or apply
the attached diff to the grdesktop tarball

$ cd grdesktop-0.16/src
$ patch -p1 < /tmp/run.c.diff

this simple patch remove the -w option for rdesktop.
