Both with gpsd running and without gpsd running?

My mistake, should be lower case "p".

Odd, that did not work... And you forgot the "-t"

Something very wrong.

Both with gpsd running and without gpsd running?

I assume same gpsd command to start, no "-b", no "-p"?

Are you sure the TX pin to the GPS is connected??

The "-t" totally failed, and no confing data.

Something wrong.

Same comments as for "-p CONFIG"

The output should look like this:

    # ubxtool -t -p status
    1729289168.1025
    UBX-MON-VER:
      swVersion ROM CORE 3.01 (107888)
      hwVersion 00080000
      extension FWVER=SPG 3.01
      extension PROTVER=18.00
      extension GPS;GLO;GAL;BDS
      extension SBAS;IMES;QZSS
WARNING: protVer is 10.00, should be 18.00. Hint: use option "-P 18.00"

    1729289168.1028
    UBX-MON-GNSS:
       version 0 supported 0xf defaultGnss 0x3 enabled 0x3
       simultaneous 3 reserved1 0 0 0

    [...]

Note the time stamps, the config data returned, etc.

Very wrong.
