Good. In what form? NTRIP? Raw RTCM? What message types? From
how good a base station?

If it is raw RTCM, then just feed into the u-blox on the second port.
If the u-blox is setup as rover then it just take the RTCM.

As the u-blox doc, u-blox8-M8_ReceiverDescrProtSpec_(UBX-13003221).pdf
says on page 87:

"By default the rover will begin operation in RTK fixed mode. Upon
receiving an RTCM3 correction stream on any of its communication
interfaces, the rover will parse the data, apply the correction and,
if possible, fix ambiguities. In absence of correction data or if
the correction data times out, the rover will operate in standard
    GNSS mode."

Time to RTFM.

Yup.

Mostly. Different u-blox models differ a bit on what can be saved. You
then have to tell gpsd not to change your config with the -b option.
Then hope you got the options that gpsd needs.

Or, just use ubxtool with gpsd.

Working with u-center is not for the faint of heart. I don't use
Windows, so I can't help there. Maybe someone else can.

Many ways to skin that cat.

u-center on windows.

ubxtool on osX, Linux, or any POSIX host

hex codes with gpsctl

custom python

custom C.

Pick one. Pick several. But none work unless and until you learn
how u-blox binary works. RTFM.
