That is very odd.  Can you send the exact error message that scons

Here is line 1754:

all_manpages = list(base_manpages.keys()) + list(python_manpages.keys())

An odd line to fail...

For debugging, can you add these two lines just above the failing line?

all_manpages = list(base_manpages.keys()) + list(python_manpages.keys())

And send the output of running "scons"?

Also, please confirm your Python version this way:

# pthyon -V
